Terms of Use.

1. Acceptance

By creating an account on MetaopAI or using our applications, you agree to these Terms of Use and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

2. Service description

MetaopAI is a personal AI-powered journaling tool with signal intelligence. It provides Spaces, a Journal for reflection, Notes for working with information, and Entities to represent the people you journal about. AI is used to analyze what you write, surface observations and patterns, and help you work with your material.

MetaopAI is not a medical device, therapist, doctor, lawyer, or financial advisor. It is a private analytical journal that surfaces patterns with citations.

3. User accounts

• You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. Some feature contexts are intended for adult use; we recommend the product for users 18 and older.
• You may keep one active account per person.
• You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for activity that happens under your account.
• You agree to give accurate account information and to keep it up to date.

4. Subscription and billing

MetaopAI offers a free tier and paid subscription tiers. Current tiers include:

• Free — daily token allowance for basic use.
• Entry, Mid, and Pro — increasing daily token allowances, feature access, and higher limits on Spaces and Entities.

Subscriptions are billed on a monthly recurring basis. Prices for each tier are shown on our pricing page and inside the App Store or Play Store listing for the mobile applications. Prices may change; when they do, we will notify you before the change takes effect.

Cancellation is available at any time. Web subscriptions can be canceled in your MetaopAI account settings. Mobile subscriptions are managed through your App Store or Play Store account settings.

6. Refunds

Refunds are governed by the platform where you purchased the subscription. Purchases made through the Apple App Store are refundable only through Apple, according to Apple's refund policy. Purchases made through Google Play are refundable only through Google, according to Google's refund policy. Purchases made on the web through Stripe may be refundable at our discretion; contact support@metaop.ai.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to use MetaopAI to:

• Store, produce, or distribute illegal content, including content that sexually exploits minors, content that incites violence, or content that violates the rights of others.
• Impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity or affiliation.
• Attempt to scrape, reverse engineer, or otherwise extract system prompts, model outputs, or underlying data beyond what is exposed by the product interface.
• Use the AI features to harass, threaten, defame, dox, or stalk a third party.
• Interfere with the security or integrity of the service, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to other accounts or systems.
• Use the service to make automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects on other people.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.

8. Intellectual property

You own the content you create in MetaopAI — your journal entries, notes, uploads, and other material. By using the service you grant us the limited technical rights required to store, process, transmit, and analyze that content solely to operate the product for you.

MetaopAI retains ownership of the platform — the software, models, orchestration layer, brand, and everything we build. These Terms do not transfer any of that to you.

9. Termination

You can stop using MetaopAI at any time and delete your account through the app. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, fail to pay, or expose the platform or its users to risk. On termination, the MetaopAI-held context associated with the account can be removed; artifacts stored through Bring Your Own Storage remain in your own storage provider.

10. Disclaimers

The service is provided "as is" and "as available." To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, MetaopAI and its officers, employees, and agents will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenues, data, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim arising out of or related to the service will not exceed the amount you paid us for the service in the twelve months before the claim.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Delaware, unless applicable consumer-protection law grants you the right to a different forum.

13. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you inside the product or by email before the changes take effect. Continued use of the service after the effective date of the updated Terms is your acceptance of them.
